What a wonderful, mindful observation of life. With kitty! I think the KCLS need to foster film discussion groups. I would only take exception to the library's description of the household as "middle class." I'd say "academic/alternative/urban/ignoring the finances."

This movie has nothing to convey, nor has any food for thought or any depth to it. Even the title is misleading, as neither the cat, dog, rat, or moss, have nothing mysterious or interesting about them, nor do the human characters for that matter.

Absolutely delightful. Leave your expectations of narrative at the door. If you enjoy the films of Bela Tarr and Jacques Tati - and perhaps the literary mind of Franz Kafka - this fascinating gem may just be for you.
An excellent review:

This is a short film that tries very hard to be poignant but misses the boat.

I enjoy foreign, quirky, and deep obscure films, but this one simply left me asking the questions: What? Why? Really? The film made absolutely no sense...abstract or otherwise.
