Fills in some back story on Immorten Joe, Furiosa, and Max. Well worth the read for Mad max fans.

An interesting series of prequel stories. I was actually hoping for some more detail on the unnamed characters in the movie (e.g. the guy playing the guitar during the chase scene, etc). I agree that some of the stories worked better than others but none contained really any important information you need for the movie.

A collection of prequel tales linked to characters from the movie- and in Max's case, even incorporating the continuity of the Gibson films. Some of these work better than others- the Max stories are the best of the lot.

Decent writing and interesting back stories. Even the one about the giant modified fuel tanker from the movie. But didn't amaze me.

The 2 Max stories have good art and are worth a read, but the Furiosa and Immortan Joe stories have bad writing although they add a little but of backstory. Overall a disappointment as I LOVED the movie.
