This set of three books is really great, the pages turn real easily, while also drawing the reader into a vague and engaging world. The characters and locations are grounded in reality, but dissolve into philosophy and anxiety. The author does a great job portraying the feelings of walking through the city, and being a writer. The way the stories connect is subtle but very fitting. I'm excited to read more of Auster's work, this is a very unorthodox style of mystery novel.

Like a magnet, the reader is drawn into three stories of mystery, intrigue and labyrinth.
Or- is it the same story?....
