I'm going to quote my best friend's review and say that this book is truly like coming home.

Where to even begin...this book is complete fan service and I am in absolute love with SJM for giving us this glimpse into the lives of my favourite characters of all time. This was fluffy, hopeful, and sweet, while at the same time, also giving us a glimpse into what's in store with the next trilogy, and I can't wait. I would live in this world if I could.

Some highlights: (mild spoilers ahead but I can't not mention these)
- Amren the angry snowball
- Illyrian babies
- True wine friends Cassian and Feyre
- (And mortified Azriel trying to fix their mess)
- Best buddies snowball fight

There are probably fifteen more I could mention, and every time that Feyre and Rhys go through their whole "to the stars" and "to the dreams" spiel I cry, but overall, I'm just so happy with this novella. It was exactly what I needed during a rough few days, and I love these characters.

I think this was a very good continuation of the acotar series. That being said, I felt like the ~steamy~ scenes between Feyre and Rhysand were a little redundant and I could’ve lived without them. It gave a nice little view onto how all the characters were doing after the war. I’m personally all for Elain and Azriel though, not a huge fan of Lucien.

Some good character growth in this book, but not much of a story. Lovers of this series will enjoy reading this bridge into the next part as we move on with new characters.

Very quick read and a nice filler right after the war in book 3 to tied us over until book 4 comes out. I am on team Cassian and Nesta. I hope they are drawn to each other in a good way and I hope Nesta gets a little nicer. She needs to get over herself. And Elain needs to wake up and realize that Lucien is her true mate and he is a great guy.

I love Sarah J. Maas Books and this novella was cute. It gave some more insight to the characters and there relationships and it also gave a spoiler for Feyre and Rhys future! I'm so excited for the next book!

5 Stars - I highly recommend if you have read the ACoTaR series!

This book picks up where the final book in the trilogy left off, and creates a bridge to the three spin off novels that Maas will write next.

I'm not going to give spoilers about this one, but I absolutely loved this teeny tiny novella! Being back in my favorite fictional world, with the characters, etc. was a dream. This is set at Winter Solstice, so it had a lovely wintery/hygge/holiday sort of vibe to it. I loved seeing what happened with the characters after the trilogy, what was going on in the world, and seeing a sneak peek for the first spin off book has me super excited to read it!! Squee! I had a pretty good guess where this novella would go, and where at least one of the spin offs would go.. and I think I was pretty spot on, but also pleasantly surprised. Don't go into this expecting a ton of plot, it's been described as a novella and a bridge book for a reason! Just enjoy it!

Great book, but not quite like the other books by SJM. This one focuses on relationships and emotions, so there aren't any cool battle scenes. Still a great book though.

What is this? I mean, it's the length of a novel, but it's called "3.1" in the series and evidently we'll be gifted with another non-book before the "actual" fourth novel in the series. I'm really glad I got this from the library and didn't buy a copy.

On the upside, this is a nice little slice-of-life story about the friends rebuilding and adjusting to life after the recent war with the King of Hybern. Characters are moved on the board a bit to get ready for the next act. We see a couple of set-ups for new conflict and one possible creepy creature.

On the downside, this is literally a slice-of-life vignette about the characters being ready for and celebrating solstice (cough*Christmas*cough). I'd place this squarely in the romance novel category, a category I don't read, but imagine to be filled with this type of relentless thinking about, almost having, and finally having sex, written in the kind of detail and with word choices that can be so cringey that Penthouse Forum seems like literature in comparison.

While some disliked the shopping, which was second only to descriptions of sex, I did like the idea of Feyre getting used to having money to spend and her guilt over having more than others. She also deals with survivor's guilt and how best to use her gifts to help rebuild her kingdom.

If you want to know what happens, check it out, don't buy it.
