I enjoyed the part about his early years, but got bogged down in the war stories and what came after. I did finish it. It had been so long since I read his books, the explanation about how he got his ideas lost me. I would still rate it G

As I am a huge fan of Mr. Hillerman's writing, both mystery fictionand non-fiction, I decided to read what the man had to say about himself. No mystery at all- he's had an "interesting" life. I totally enjoyed his memoir and would recommend it even if you are not familiar with his writing But I would recommend those to you also.
