The summary here is wrong in one way. This film's sequence was NOT the inspiration for the final Death Star destruction scene in Star Wars. That honour belongs to a film that pre-dates this one - 633 Squadron. Mosquito Squadron took elements from the original 633 Squadron novel, the dam busters raid of 617 Squadron, and even film sequences from Operation Crossbow and 633 Squadron. While this may be an interesting film, it is highly derivative. Still, the average movie-goer won't even know the difference.
